Camping was very different from last year as students explored Sheung Wan and the IFC on the first day, then staying in dormitories. In previous years, students were treated to full days of fun fill outdoor activities focusing on teamwork and independence.
Unfortunately, on the first night of camping, a T3 typhoon warning was raised and students couldn't enjoy the outdoor facilities of the campsite. Then a T8 warning the next morning cut the trip short and we were sent packing back to school and home to ensure our safety.
All was not lost when we continued our camping experience with a hiking trip in the New Territories to visit old Hong Kong sites to learn more about how people used to live. Students were able to see the differences in how villages live compared to what they are used to in other parts of Hong Kong.

At school, students had individual teacher conferences to get feedback on what they have to work on in their writing. Each student is expected to use the feedback and suggestions to make their writing better in the future.
